Why The Local Legend?
Because only locals can truly appreciate legends.
Places have legends. A legend translates the glyphs and garb that make up a map into legible notations that are useful for navigation. When a local looks at a map, they see between the topo lines in ways that no out-of-towner could. Every mountain and backroad has a story, and many are yet to be written.
Cultures have legends. A legend is a story that awakens the imagination, encapsulating a well-known place from a long-forgotten time. When you spend enough time somewhere, you begin to learn the legends. And if you’re anything like us, you start to scheme your own.
Communities have legends. A legend is an individual who leads in capability, originality, and creativity, going where no one has gone before to bring the best out of those around them.
That’s the stuff we want to talk about: the athletes, performances, and landscapes that challenge us to get out every day and Run Like Hell.
Plus, Strava is basically doing free marketing for us, which is convenient.

What is Hellroaring Run Club?
We’re the premier run club of Montana’s Flathead Valley. We specialize in getting runners of all stripes together to Run Like Hell. We host a weekly community run as well as periodic races and challenges. If you want more HRC, you can connect with us on Strava, Instagram, or our website.
